My daughter has a birthday party to attend in a couple of weeks; like all of the girls in her class, the birthday girl is turning 5. They are ADORABLE at this age in part because they are SO EXCITED about how old their turning. I’m looking at 40 soon I’m not so excited, ah the joys of youth! I live vicariously through these kids.

The unicorn/pony set is a Stamptember set from Simon Says Stamp, I think it was an exclusive for the month and it came with a matching die set. This is the first time I’ve gotten to use it since receiving it in September, how this is possible I do not know, it is such an adorable set!

The clouds are from My Favorite Things, and the rainbow die is a new release from Taylored Expressions. The bulk of the paper in this card is Neenah Solar White in 110lb, the accent paper is probably Recollections brand.

Here are the inks and the accents I used. That bag from Lucy’s Cards, of sequins, is AMAZING. I will absolutely be ordering more!

Copics used to color the unicorns/ponies are: B00, B02, B04, BV00, R21, R22, R32, RV04, RV11, V04, and V15. I used a Gelly Roll pen in silver for the horn, and I clear embossed over Tuxedo Black Momento ink the outlines of the ponies.

Off setting the ponies off of the clouds, having them overlap the edges of the clouds, helps hide where the cloud layer and the rainbow layer don’t match up perfectly. It also adds a dynamic level to an otherwise very simple card.

I hope you like this card it was fun to create! Thank you for viewing!
