Maybe lovey dovey Valentine’s aren’t your thing. My husband and I enjoy a little snark between the two of us, with that in mind I created this card to share!

The stamp set is from Unity Stamps. I LOVED this adorable bear and bunny! The stamp set includes this image and several sentiments, not all as snarky as this one. As we are expecting about 3 inches of snow today I thought it would be a fitting card to share.

The image was stamped onto watercolor paper using Distress Markers to ink the image, using those same makers I then colored in the images. The colors used: ground espresso, fossilized amber, cracked pistachio, hickory smoke, abandoned coral, candied apple, and blueprint sketch. Once the image was dried I placed a mask made of Post-It tape over it, and rubbed on some Distress Ink to help give it a more wintery scene. I’m almost positive I used tumbled glass, but not 100% sure.

To do the background I clear embossed the sentiment stamp randomly on some Neenah Solar White cardstock. To pop out the sentiment I  I embossed one in a blue that coordinates with some of the blues in the image. Using some Distress Ink I pinked the background up and then rubbed the ink off of the embossed areas.

I die cut an off-center circle using the Die-namics Double Stitched Circle STAX set from My Favorite Things and then cut out my image using the same die. After trimming the side off of the image, so that the edge would be flush with the card, I adhered it to some fun foam to give a bit of dimension. I wanted just a slight more umph, so I used three embellishments from Doodlebug Designs.
