Hello, gentle readers! 😀

I have a video to share with you! It is completely unrelated to today’s card though. I wanted to get this video to you, as I’ll be sharing a bunch of work using rubber stamps. I know a lot of people avoid using them, primarily due to the fact that you can’t see through them to line them up well. Never fear, I’ll show you how to do just that and your stamping world will open up!

While the video is about rubber stamps, today’s card is using a polymer stamp set from Kindred Stamps. The inspiration for this card came from a video that I watched that UniquePaper15. She made a rainbow galaxy background and I was INSTANTLY in love! I need to rainbow galaxy EVERYTHING! Read on to see the coupon code for the stamp set I used!

Rainbow background without white splatters.

My rainbow galaxy background with white paint splatters.

Using my Creative Corners for the first time, trying to line up the sentiment.

I made the background using Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch, Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks. Then I splattered white acrylic paint over the entire background. I stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black. The Copics I used are RV00, RV02, T1, and T3. The sequins are from Lucy’s Little Things. The dies are from My Favorite Things. The stamp set is from Kindred Stamps, I used the Celebrate Mom set. You can buy your own and use Hannah10 to get 10% off of your purchase!

Lining up the scalloped bits was a pain. :/ I used Ranger Multi Medium to adhere them to a white panel of Neenah 80lb cardstock. I need to work on lining them up a little more evenly, but I still think it is a lovely card.

Thank you for reading! Watch the video! Please, go check out Kindred Stamps, and don’t forget the coupon code!
