I was lucky enough to be asked to serve as a guest designer for Createful Heart Digis and Design. This is a digital stamp company whose stamps are available to purchase on Etsy. They also have a lovely Facebook Group for their fans where they interact with them quite a bit.
I was really humbled by working with this group of women. They care so much for each other, and they really work hard on fostering a sense of community within their design team group. It was really an amazing thing to see!
I was asked to work with their Fantasy Rose digital stamp, which was my first time working with a digi stamp! This image was a lot of fun to color with my Copics. Primarily because I knew that I wanted to do color blending, but not a traditional 3 toned Copic blending. I moved outside of my Sandy Allnock Hexagon Chart and messed around until I found the blend that I liked the best.
After my image was colored, I die cut it out using the Lavish Layers die set from Our Daily Bread. Taking a sheet of Grapescicle Cardstock from My Favorite Things, I dusted Distress Oxides on the outside to deepen the colors of my background paper. I also cut out the “Love” sentiment from a Lawn Fawn die using the same paper and similar oxide colors, and hit it all over with my Wink of Stella pen!
The rose layer was adhered to the Grapescicle Cardstock using Scor-Tape and Fun Foam for added dimension, I used Ranger Multi Medium Matte for the sentiment.
I don’t do a lot of flowers frequently, but I really enjoyed coloring this one. This card is part of a card challenge, or rather I’m adding inspiration to the challenge. To see more about how to apply your Createful Heart Creations, visit this page!
