At some point, a couple of weeks ago, I saw a card made by two stamp sets from The Ink Road. Instagram apparently works for marketing because as soon as I saw the card I HAD to research this company I’d never heard of and HAD to get my hands on the sentiment stamp I am showcasing today. I HAD to use this sentiment, I just LOVED it. I had designed this card the second I saw the stamp set.
When I sat down to make this card it turned out EXACTLY as I imagined it would. I started using some Arches watercolor paper and wet it down with an iridescent watercolor from my Gansai Tambi set. While the paper was still wet I dabbed on little dots of color from my Zig Brushes. Once dry I ran it through my Big Shot to make a scalloped panel and elevated it up off of the base panel with a bit of fun foam.
I have no idea who the recipient of this card will be, but I just can’t wait to give it out! I hope you’ll check out The Ink Road – their packaging is FABULOUS! Also, not only did they give me free sequins as a gift, but they also sent a matching ink pad! Clearly, customer service is their thing.
If I have inspired you to check The Ink Road out, please let me know. If I have inspired you to make a card today (or any day!) please let me know! I hope you have a WONDERFUL day!
