The Axolotl is a super adorable salamander that is found in Mexico. Due to urbanization and pollution, they are considered to be critically endangered, but they used to be a major food source for the Aztecs. You should totally do a Google search of them, they are super ADORABLE!
Audra, at Kindred Stamps, and the rest of us on the creative team LOVE random adorable creatures. This Axolotl stamp set is one of Audra’s super adorable creations!
I created these perfectly spaced die cuts by tapping my dies together and running them through my Big Shot. This way, all 3 pieces that I needed to be nestled into each other fit with zero issues and I only had to cut once. After I colored them with my Copic markers I fit them into each other and ran my tape runner along the back end, this allowed me to place them (together) onto my card, speeding up the time it took to create this card!
I used one section of my Hero Arts Ombre Dolphin ink pad to add a touch of blue in the corner for the bubbles, I also added some Wink of Stella to those bubbles. 😀
I hope you enjoyed this card! If you love ADORABLE little critters keep your eye on Kindred Stamps! If you order from them use the code HANNAH10 to save 10% off of your stamp order!
