I used to think I was a cat person, but then we had a dog AND a cat. Not gonna lie, I’m TOTALLY a dog person. Now we’ve got two pups in our crazy house and our lives are so much fuller for having them in it!
I really enjoyed playing with both the Bork and Fur Babies sets. These two stamp sets compliment each other so completely! You can absolutely just get one set, but why do that when the combination is so perfect?!?!?!?
Creating My Card
In my card today I combined both by doing a “subway art” style printing of the text on a card panel, leaving a corner of my card blank for a puppy dog. I stamped my sentiments using Catherine Pooler Inks, I just love how perfect they stamp.
For the puppy, I stamped him out and colored him with Copic Markers and cut him out with my Scan-n-Cut. Then I carefully traced an equal distance around him onto some gray cardstock to provide a background layer. This layer allows the pup to pop out against all that white.
I used the same gray cardstock as an A2 card base, layered my “subway art” panel onto that, and then my gray puppy panel. On top of that panel, I adhered my puppy using an action wobbler, so that he moves! He’s SO cute when he moves around!
I hope you enjoyed my card today! I can’t wait to see what you make with these two stamp sets, or just with one or the other! Remember to use the hashtag #inkroadstamps on social media when you share your projects!
