Hi there! Today is THE DAY! THE holiday for Star Wars fans! It is a play on words, from May the Force Be With You, if you’ve been living under a rock. čÖé

Today I’m sharing a super fun card I created using a new-to-me stamp company from Hawaii called Kitty Bee Designs!┬á The stamp set I am using is Ewok Panda, and it is CRAZY adorable, just like all the rest of their products!

This card was crazy fun to make because in the process of building it, I made several mistakes which forced me to learn and become creative with!

To start, I stamped my critters backward! I stamped with the topmost Ewok being a full image and the rest nestled behind, that looked awkward. Also, the bottom row of critters blocked the eyes of the middle row.

I kept this messed up panel, though and re-stamped the bottom row in a different color. Even though it was layered wrong, I could still use this as a placement guide.

I colored, and cut out all of my guys, however, a shortcut I had taken ended up bitting me in the tush. Instead of cutting out the entire panda out of my Post-It Tape, I mostly just cut out the white areas. Well, you could see the Catherine Pooler ink against the black stamped images along the bottom where I created a ground.

To fix this flaw I went over those black areas with a black Copic marker. While doing this I had a big oleCopic blob fall on the front middle Ewok! This is where the card REALLY got fun! I re-stamped another Ewok, colored him and cut him. I elevated him off of my card panel using foam tape and stuck a sentiment banner behind him. This fix made my card even more dynamic and completely hides all of my mistakes!

The background was a BLAST! I took a rubber tree stamp I had, and stamped it with three different Altenew green inks all over an Arches Cold Press Watercolor Paper and then spritzed it with water. Now my Ewok Pandas are on a forest moon!

I am rather smitten with this card!

Last year, to celebrate this day, I created two cards from a Krumspring stamp, you learn more about them by clicking on this photo:
