Oh my goodness, this is the COOLEST set to play with! I am a huge fan of the show that this stamp set was inspired by! The soundtrack is EPIC! I am forever grateful that I get to play with Kindred Stamps’s products, seriously I thank my lucky stars every single day!

This set is called Strange Friends and it will be available for sale on Friday, November 17th. I made SEVERAL cards with this set, including one box card that I got carried away with. 😉

Now, the monster in the bottom isn’t part of the stamp set, I drew him, but it wasn’t all that hard to draw, just do a Google search and start doodling until you get a monster that suits your purposes.

I immediately knew that I wanted to do a play of things upside down. Originally I was going to mirror the characters, however mirroring the girl was an issue. Her body is separate from her head so that you can choose her look! 😀 Instead I decided to play that the girl and her friend were lost, there being spaced apart while the friends above being close was an intentional move in order to make some distance and unease.

The white specks were made with a combination of white acrylic paint being flicked on with a toothbrush and a white Gelli Roll.

The above is the inside of the card. Neat how I get a topside and an underside all on two different panels in the front, don’t you think?

HAHAHAHA! I’m SUCH a goof, I didn’t get the sentiments until nearly the last minute! They were intended to be used like the card above, I’m SO silly! I kept working with the stamp set wishing I could make a card like this, not realizing I COULD!

Lastly, I’m rather enamored of this card. I was going for wallpaper in the background. I’m not sure I reached it, but the colors pleased me, and I liked giving this character his moment.

We are really excited about this release! We have 9 new sets being released on Friday! 9! Can you believe it! We are reaching back into your childhood hardcore this month, and we’re giving a brief nod to one of our most vocal Supreme Court Justices1 And we want to know which is your favorite set of this release.
