If you’re in the Rise and Shine with Rita Barakat Facebook Group then you might remember me posting a photo and a question several weeks ago.
I asked which group of ephemera die cut and sentiment should I use in a project. Overwhelmingly the group chose the Veil of the Fairies die cut with the “make some time for play today” quote.
I decided to take the sentiment literally, and while the project may make no sense to someone, it was literally me just playing around. I had so much fun!
The cards I’m using for my sentiments are really great, they are actually “inspiration” cards. I have a ton of them, from various packs that offer different looks/quotes/feels. I think they are a great tool to use when your project needs something, or you want a sentiment and your handwriting is awful. *cough* *cough* *cough* *me*.
For this project, I used a variety of Plaid Paints and Mod Podge products (also from Plaid). I also used a die-cut from Rita Barakat, from her Veil of the Fairies line. I also used some Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays.
Thank you so much for hanging out with me today! I am so grateful you stopped by, and I hope you play today!
